Speaker Bio

Scott Hardman, BA, MA, MBA, Managing Director, Alexander Hutton

Scott Hardman is the Managing Director at Alexander Hutton, Oaklins' member firm in Seattle. Scott focuses on manufacturing, technology and healthcare transactions. In the manufacturing sector, he has particular experience in aerospace. Previously, Scott established the international division of a financial consulting firm, where he consulted with banks and businesses across the United States and in 28 countries on questions related to finance, valuation and management. From 1989 to 1994, he served as Chairman and CEO of a Seattle-based diversified manufacturing company serving the aerospace and marine industries. While there, he conducted acquisitions, divestitures and private placements. Scott holds several graduate degrees, including an MBA from the University of Washington. Additionally, he serves on numerous corporate, charitable and institutional boards of directors, including UW Medicine/Northwest Hospital, which he previously chaired. Active in public affairs, Scott was a 1994 candidate for the United States Senate and previously served as the Chair of the State of Washington’s Economic Development Finance Authority.
